The blaze erupted on the fourth floor of the PMC building, housing Customs and offices of Adani group of companies, at around 11 am, they said.
However, no loss of life was reported. The cause of the fire and the extent as well as the nature of damage, is yet to be ascertained, fire officials said, adding it might be due to short circuit.
Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the flames were doused in half-an-hour, the officials added.
