A fire today broke out in a forested patch behind Rajghat resulting in dense smoke in the area.
Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai visited the site and later tweeted that several fire tenders and dozens of fire fighters were trying to douse the flames.
A fire department official said a call about the fire was received around 5 PM and several fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
An incident of fire was reported in the same area last week.
