A fire broke out at Kadamtala
Market of Howrah this morning.
There was no report of any casualty, a Fire Brigade official said.
Ten fire tenders are on the spot and the fire, which was first noticed at 5.40 AM, has "almost been brought under control", the official said.
About 50 shops have been damaged in the fire, he said.
The market is located about 7 km from Howrah Station.
