A fire broke out on the top floor of an 11-storied building in North Kolkata tonight.
Three fire tenders put off the blaze which broke out around midnight at the building in Ultadanga area, fire brigade sources said.
The residents were safely evacuated during fire fighting operations and there was no report of any injury to anyone.
The cause of the fire was not clear, they said.
