A fire broke out at shops close to the sub-divisional court premises at Uluberia in Howrah district today.
Fire brigade sources said flames were seen from photo copy shops and shanties adjacent to the court compound and three tenders contained the flames.
Today being Sunday there was not much crowd in the area.
