Fire on Vaishnodevi track, store of Shrine Board gutted

A fire broke out today enroute cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district resulting in damage caused to the store of the Shrine Board.

The fire broke out in a scrap store at Ban Ganga and spread to nearby areas, police said.

Fire tenders from various places, including Jammu, were rushed to the area to douse the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to densely populated market places in the area, he said.

There was no loss of life or injury to anyone.
