A forest fire triggered mine blasts along Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district today.
No one was injured in the incident. "There were at least 15 to 20 mine blasts on the LoC. However, there was causality on this," a police officer said today.
There was a forest fire triggered from a Pakistan post across the LoC causing mine blasts on that side. Later, the fire spread to this side of the border in Mendhar sector early today, he said.
The forest fire got extinguished in the rains. When contacted, Army spokesman there are no such report from the area.
