Firing on a college van leaves one girl injured in NW Pakistan

Unidentified attackers opened indiscriminate firing at a college van in this northwestern city of Pakistan, injuring a girl student.

The incident occurred in Charsadda district of outskirts of Peshawar bordering restive Mohmand tribal agency.

The police said that the attackers targeted the driver over personal enmity but the girl was shot in the hand.

The injured student has been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Charsadda.

Law enforcement personnel are further investigating the incident.

Information Minister Mushtaq Ghani said that firing incident was result of personal enmity.
