The first batch of Pakistani players returned home tonight after their failed c ricket World Cup campaign.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had asked for special security for the the second batch of players who will reach Lahore tonight.
A PCB delegation asked for the security in a meeting with senor police officials in Lahore today.

"They have asked for a security cordon for the players who will return to Lahore tonight," a senior police official in Lahore said.
In Karachi flamboyant all-rounder, Shahid Afridi, wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed and pace bowler Sohail Khan returned to a quiet reception while senior batsman Younis Khan, who is based in the city has stayed back in Melbourne.
Afridi has announced his retirement from ODIs after the World Cup while Sarfraz scored the only century for Pakistan in the mega-event.
Pakistan crashed out in the quarter-finals of the World Cup after losing out to co-hosts Austraila by six wickets in Adelaide.
