First cyber police station of Hry established in Gurugram

The first cyber police station of Haryana has been established in Gurugram where cyber offences related cases will be registered.

The cyber police station was inaugurated today by chief executive officer, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram, V Umashankar along with Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, Sandeep Khirwar in the office of ACP, DLF office, Gurugram, an official release said here.

The building of the police station has been provided by DLF in Phase 5, it said.

Adequate trained manpower has already been deployed at the cyber police station. If needed, cyber crime experts from outside will also be roped in this police station, it said.
 

This police station would work under the direct supervision of ACP Crime/DCP Crime Gurugram.
