First priority is to build internal roads: AP Minister

The Andhra Pradesh government has given first priority to build internal roads in the rural areas of the state, Minister K Ravindra said today.

'We have given first priority to (build) internal roads in the rural sector" said Ravindra, the Excise Minister, after laying foundation stones constructing for internal roads in Pothepalli and Chinnakaragraharam villages in the Krishna district.

He said Rs 1.35 crore will be spent for constructing internal roads in these two villages.

Meanwhile, the Minister also said that the state government has alloted Rs 25 crore for works related to the 'Krushna Pushkaram' in the Machilipatnam constituency.
