Demanding the release of all Indian fishermen from prisons in Sri Lanka and of their boats, fishermen from four coastal districts decided to indefnitely suspend operations from tomorrow.
Fishermen from Nagapattinam, Karaikal, Pudukottai and Tiruvarur districts would suspend operations from tomorrow.
K Sukumar, the head of various fishermen's associations, said a decision to this effect was taken at a meeting here today.
