Five persons were arrested for
different parts of the city after stolen items and smuggled liquor were seized from their possession, police said.
Irfan was arrested from Sector 37 area last night, they said.
Narinder was held from NRI city area, they said, adding Ramesh and Kishan, who have several cases against their names, were also arrested from the same area.
Stolen gold ring and a mobile phone was seized from their possession.
Meanwhile, Dinesh Kumar was arrested from Dankuar area after 48 bottles of smuggled liquor were recovered from him yesterday, according to police.
