Five persons have been booked for allegedly demanding extortion money from a trader at Mansurpur village here, police said today.
A case was registered against Sonu, Karim, Shehzad, Wajid and Fayaz yesterday for making extortion calls to Iftakhar and threatening him, they said.
Probe is on in the matter, police added.
