Five cheats arrested

Five persons were arrested

today by Haryana Police in separate cases of cheating.

Two persons were arrested for cheating a resident of Sirsa district by making false assurance of getting him a job in a private news channel, police said.

The accused, identified as Sukhchain and Nachhatar Singh, had even taken several lakhs of rupees from the complainant Sonu Grover, for providing him the job, they said, adding that raids are being conducted to nab another accused in the case.

In another incident, police arrested three persons for cheating a farmer by drawing lakhs of rupees as loan from bank with fake documents.
 

The accused were identified as Ramesh, Jagdish and Bharat Singh.

According to complainant Prabhu Dayal, some people had cheated him by preparing fake documents of his land and withdrew lakhs of rupees as loan from Central Bank of India.
