Acting on a tip off, the police nabbed the five while they were hatching a robbery plan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amrit Raj said.
All of them have confessed to their role in a loot of jewellary from a shop in Kanak Jewellers near Bank Road in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district on June 10 last, he said.
The looted jewelleries were recovered.
Two country-made pistols, five ammunition, two motorcycles, nine mobile phones, four gold chains, seven gold rings, three lockets, two watches, Rs 7,000, besides fake voter identity cards and driving licences were seized from them, the SSP said.
