Five persons, including two minors, were killed and two others injured when a truck ran over people sleeping on the pavement on the outskirts of the city, a police official said today.
The truck, engaged for a construction site of the National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited, crushed to death five people including two minors sleeping there last night, Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said.
While the driver fled, his assistant was arrested.
