The Special Task Force (STF) and Nalanda Police today arrested five dacoits and seized some bombs, arms and ammunition from them at Gajraj Bigga village in Bihar's Nalanda district.
Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Porrika said police carried out a joint operation with STF and seized six cane bombs, three pistols and 12 cartridges from the possession of dacoits who were planning to carry out dacoity at Gajraj Bigga village.
Among the five dacoits arrested by the police, Uday Mallaha, the kingpin of the gang, was the main accused of NHAI engineer Satyendra Dubey's murder case, the SP said adding that that is the resident of Katari village in Gaya district.
