Pradip Lalla (30), Chanda Devi (28) and Rohit (25) of the same family, hailing from Odare village, died yesterday when a truck ran over their bike along Mughal road near Rajpur area, police said.
Pradip and Rohit died on the spot while Chanda succumbed to injuries on way to hospital, they said.
Angry locals blocked the road as truck driver fled from the spot, they said, adding, police later pacified the agitators.
In a separate incident, two persons died last night when a truck rammed into their bike near Uriyara.
Bhagwati Prasad (34) and Rakesh (40) were crushed under the truck as they tried to overtake the coal-laden carrier.
Police rescued the truck driver and conductor, who were being beaten by villagers after the incident.
Both the dead bodies have been sent for postmortem and a case has been registered in this regard, police said.
