Five persons were awarded life sentence today by a local court for murdering a man three years ago.
The adhoc court judge Ram Padarath also slapped a fine of Rs 50,000 on each of the five convicted.
The five accused identified as Imtiyaz, Belal Mian, Ajay Kumar Kahar, Ravi Kumar and Bunti alias Saheb had shot Sheru Khan at Chaudhariana locality here on March 30, 2011, following a dispute over money.
Khan had died on way to hospital in Patna on the same day and his kin had lodged a named FIR against the five.
