Five injured in separate road mishaps in J-K

Five persons were injured in two separate road mishaps on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district today.

Two persons were seriously injured when a vehicle they were travelling in, from Jammu to Srinagar, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at the Hingni area of Ramsoo Tehsil in Ramban district, police said.

Both the injured persons were shifted to the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura Srinagar, they said.

In another accident, three persons received minor injuries when their vehicle met with an accident near Shabanbass area of Banihal in the same district, police said.
 

"The injured were discharged from the hospital after first aid," a police official said.
