Five passengers were killed and 25 others injured when a speeding minibus turned turtle and fell into a ditch at Ratbag village in Patna district today.
Superintendent of Police Rural Lallan Mohan Prasad told PTI that the driver lost control which resulted in the bus falling in the ditch.
Villagers set the minibus on fire and blocked the Barh-Bihar Sharif road, Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Tiwari said adding the police got the blockade cleared.
Belchi police station SHO Pankaj Kumar said the driver is among the injured but his helper fled the scene.
The injured have been admitted to hospital.
