Five killed, 36 injured in two road mishaps

Three persons were killed and six others injured when their car collided with a tractor near Andarsul on Yeola-Aurangabad road here, police said today.

The mishap occurred last evening when the car was knocked down by a tractor, killing three persons.

The deceased were identified as Ayubkhan Khudadkhan (50), Mehrunissa Ayubkhan (73) and Tahejibnisa Farukh Ali (60), residents of Bhandup suburb in Mumbai.

The six others injured were admitted in Nashik Civil hospital, police said.

In another accident, two persons of a marriage party were killed and 30 others sustained injuries when their truck overturned on Savada-Ringangaon road yesterday in Jalgaon district, police said.
 

Shevantabai Palaskar (60) and Anjanabai Patil (45) were identified as the deceased while all the injured were admitted to Jalgaon Civil Hospital.
