At least five persons, including a woman, were killed and 22 others injured when the bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge near Satputli in Pauri district today, police said.
A private bus fell into a 150 metre deep gorge between Gumkhal and Satputli this afternoon killing five persons, including a woman, on the spot, an official at Satputli said.
The 22 people, including six children injured in the accident, have been rushed to Kotdwar hospital, they said.
All the bodies have been recovered but was yet to be identified, police said, adding it is not clear what led to the mishap.
