Five persons, including a couple and two children, were killed and four injured in a collision involving an autorickshaw and a lorry in the district today, police said.
Eight persons, including the driver, were travelling in the autorickshaw when the mishap took place at Kunnaru this evening, they said.
The deceased were the couple, their daughter and a daughter of their relative. A 72-year-old woman, a pedestrian, was also killed in the accident.
