Five killed in separate incidents in Rohtas

Five persons, including a woman, were killed today in different incidents in Bihar's Rohtas district, police sources said.

Two bikers were shot dead by their pillion riders over a dispute in Dahigana village under Dinara police station area, sources said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and efforts were on to ascertain the identity of the victims, they said, adding the assailants fled after committing the double murder.

In a related incident, a man identified as Parasnath Prajapati was hacked to death and his brother was injured in a market place under Nasriganj police station area over a land dispute, police sources said.
 

In another incident, a dancer was beaten to death by some villagers in Munji village under Karakat police station area after he refused to dance for them for some more time, they said, adding another woman dancer Rekha Nut (40) was also shot dead by unidentified assailants in Agrer village.

Five persons were later arrested in the murder of the woman dancer, police sources added.
