Five killed in three separate road accidents in UP

Five people, including three youths, were killed and a man was injured in three separate road accidents in different parts of the district, police said today.

Three youths from Bharatpur district were hit by a speeding tractor-trolley yesterday near Fondar village when they were urinating alongside a road, they said.

Two people died on the spot and the third one was declared brought dead in a hospital, the police said.

The driver of the vehicle fled, police said, adding that it has taken the trolley in its possession, the police said.

In the second incident, a man was killed yesterday when an unknown vehicle hit his auto near Jai Gurudeo Ashram, police said.
 

In the third incident, a truck coming from Aligarh side hit a tractor coming from the opposite direction near Ayera village, they said.

Two farmers sitting on the trolley of the tractor were killed as it overturned, the police said, adding the truck driver managed to flee.
