Five killed in two road mishaps in Rajasthan

Five persons, including a toddler, were killed today in two separate road accidents in Sikar and Bikaner districts of Rajasthan, police said.

In the first incident, Girdhari (25), his wife Payal (22) and their 1-year-old son Rishabh and their relative Poonam (22), were killed when the car they were travelling in, from Shahpura to Gurara, collided with an ambulance today at Khandela in Sikar district, they said.

Ambulance driver managed to flee the spot, police said.

In the other accident, 30-year-old Revatram was killed when the pick-up jeep he was driving collided with a heavy vehicle this morning at Gusaisar village in Bikaner district, they said.
 

The heavy vehicle driver fled the scene after the accident, police said, adding the bodies have been sent for post mortem.
