Five labourers from Jharkhand were injured in Munger district of Bihar, when a 11,000 KV electric wire fell on them today.
Police said the incident happened at Daulatpur in Jamalpur police station area in the district and the labourers were trying to erect an electric pole made of cement.
The pole came in contact with the high tension wire passing close by. It broke and fell on the labourers, who received electric shock and sustained burn injuries.
None lost his life in the incident and the injured were rushed to hospital, where doctors said they were out of danger, said Jamalpur Station House Officer (SHO) Neeraj Kumar.
