Five Naxals were today arrested from separate places in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Bastar district, police said.
While three cadres belonging to Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Majdoor Sangh (DAKMS), a frontal outfit of the outlawed CPI (Maoist), were apprehended from Dantewada district, two others were nabbed from Sukma district, a senior police official told PTI.
A team of District Reserve Group (DRG) and local police caught Katia Bhogami (30), Bhuvneshwar Bhogami (27) and Arjun Oyami (28) from Faraspal police station limits.

The trio were involved in the murder of a village head Motiram Bhogami in January in Midkulnar area.
Besides, they used to extort money from local traders and transporters, the official said.
In a separate incident, two lower rung ultras, identified as Madvi Raja (28) and Dudhi Rajesh (24), were arrested by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and district force from Gadiras police station of Sukma, he added.
