Five more firms list on BSE SME platform; total reaches 134

The number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) listed on BSE SME platform reached 134 today with the addition of five more companies.

The companies are Lancer Container Lines, Raghav Ramming Mass, Franklin Leasing and Finance, Sysco Industries and Ruby Cables.

Of the 134 firms, as many as 16 SMEs have migrated to BSE's mainboard, over time.

Meanwhile, the five companies which got listed today would be added to the S&P BSE SME IPO index with effect from April 20.

Nearly 15 SMEs are expected to come out with their initial public offers (IPOs) on BSE, while many others are awaiting approval.
 

The platform provides opportunity to SMEs to raise capital for growth and expansion.

Shares of Lancer Container Lines, Raghav Ramming Mass, Franklin Leasing and Sysco Industries closed in the green.

Ruby Cables scrip saw no change in closing trade today compared to its IPO issue price.
