Five mountain climbers were today killed in a forest fire in northeastern Chinese city of Dalian.
The wildfire in Dahei Mountain was reported this afternoon. More than 300 fire fighters rushed to the site, state run Xinhua news agency quoted local fire safety officials as saying.
The fire has been brought under control. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained and a probe has been ordered into the matter, the report said.
No further information on the climbers was available.
