Five naxalites including a woman were arrested today during separate search operations in Maoist-hit Bastar region of Chhattisgarh.
"Three cadres were nabbed by a joint contingent of district police force and CRPF from forests of Kiskoda village of Narayanpur district," Narayanpur DSP N K Sahu told PTI.
The arrests came after a patrol party was mobilised based on a tip-off about the movement of ultras in the forests in Narayanpur, about 350 kms from here.

The ultras were identified as Fulsingh Salaam (30), Baijnath (25) and Punaye (40), the female member.
Salaam and Baijnath were involved in various cases of murder, attempt to murder and dacoity, the DSP said.
The arrested woman cadre was associated with Jantana Sarkar group of banned Communist Party of India (Maoist), Sahu said.
The naxalites were produced in a local court, which sent them to jail, he said.
Two others were arrested in separate incidents in Kondagaon district.
Kuldhar (27), a member of Padeli LOS (local operation squad) of outlawed CPI (Maoist) was apprehended from Mardapal police station limits, police said.
In another search operation, a team of local police arrested Mannu Ram (45), a member Barda Dalam of Maoists.
They both admitted to being involved in incidents of booth capturing and attack on policemen in the region.
The tribal-dominated Bastar region, a hotbed of Maoist activities, consists of seven districts- Kanker, Bastar, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bijapur, Sukma and Dantewada.
