Five members of a family here suffered severe burn injuries today when their house caught fire after a gas leak, police said.
The incident occurred this evening at Gopalpur village when one of the members tried to light a gas stove.
"The house was soon engulfed by flames. Two of the family members are said to be serious and have been referred to a hospital in Meerut," a police spokesman said.
