District Magistrate Pankaj Kumar also ordered registration of FIRs against two others in connection with alleged anomalies, officials said.
The administration had constituted 82 teams to inspect 163 purchase centres in the district which submitted their report yesterday, they said.
On the basis of the report, the DM suspended five PCF employees and ordered registration of FIRs against the two.
Besides, the DM also stopped salaries of eight employees and sought an explanation from six officials.
