Five persons killed, 23 injured in two mishaps near Bhilwara

Five persons were killed and twenty three others got injured in two separate road mishaps in Bhilwara district, the police said today.

Four men were killed on the spot and nine others got injured when a tempo in which they were travelling in collided head-on with a bus on Bhilwara-Udaipur highway at Pur police station late last night, the police said.

Four of the seriously injured passengers were rushed to Udaipur, and five were admitted to Bhilwara, they said.

In another mishap, a mini-truck attendant was killed and 14 pilgrims travelling in it were injured when their vehicle rammed into a heavy trailer parked on the roadside on Bhilwara-Ajmer highway near Gulabpura this morning, they said. Injured were rushed to Bhilwara hospital, they added.
 

Pilgrims were coming from Gwalior to Ajmer.
