The mishap took place at Vakavalasa when a private bus collided with a parcel van. Four persons, including the van driver, died on the spot and the fifth victim succumbed to injures while being shifted to hospital, they said.
The injured were admitted to Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital in Srikakulam, police added.
