Five policemen were today suspended by the Superintendent of Police of Saharanpur for remaining absent during their duty hours.
When Saharanpur SP Pradeep Kumar Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of the state treasury and banks in the area, Head Constable Ram Kishan, and constables Udayveer, Sonu, Dheeraj and Mahipal were nowhere to be found.
Yadav suspended all the five policemen immediately and warned that similar action will be taken against those failing to execute their duties properly.
