The district authorities have attached sugar worth Rs 90 crore and sealed five godowns of a sugar mill in Mansoorpur area here for not clearing dues of farmers.
The revenue department has issued recovery certificate (RC) against farmers' pending dues of Rs 70 crores to paid by the sugar mill, District Magistrate Kaushal Raj told reporters here.
If the mill owner will fail to clear the dues, the attached sugar will be auctioned and the dues will be paid to the farmers, he added.
