Five criminals, wanted in several cases of kidnapping and robbery, were arrested here, police said today.
Ved Prakash, Joginder, Aas Mohammad, Ajnabi and Varuna Arora were arrested yesterday from different areas in the city.
Prakash and Joginder were wanted in a case under IPC sections 363 (kidnapping), 366 (Kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel her marriage).
Mohammad was wanted under the Gangster Act and Ajnabi was wanted in a case under IPC section 435 (mischief by fire or explosive substance).
Arora was wanted in a case under IPC sections 297 (trespassing on burial places), 304-A (causing death by rash and negligent act) and 427 (mischief).
