Fixed service connection charges for industry in Haryana

Power utilities in Haryana have introduced fixed service connection charges for the industrial connections to ensure ease of doing business in the state.

Informing this, Nitin Yadav, Managing Director, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) said here today that for the first time, the discoms (UHBVN and DHBVN) have allowed Rs 500 per KW for LT industry and Rs 750 per KVA of contract demand from HT industry as fixed connection charges where the adequate electrical infrastructure is already established and are in the radius of 300 meters of existing LT and 11 KV line.

Such connections would be released within specified limit of 15 days after completion of all the formalities including application, security and deposit of fixed charges.
 

Necessary directions have been given to all its operation circles to facilitate the same, he said.

The industrial applicants would also be able to avail this facility by applying online after depositing their fixed service connection charges, processing fee.

The facility would benefit all such industrial estates developed by HSIIDC or other departments which have sufficient electrical infrastructure and further would be directed by the Nigam to upgrade the infrastructure as per the projected requirement, he said.
