Students of IIM Kozhikode (IIM-K) today held a 'flash mob' at the beach and Focus Mall in the city as a run up to the sixth Calicut Mini-Marathon 2015 on March 1.
The event was a prelude to this year's SBI Calicut Mini-Marathon in association with the Kerala Network Police and Angel Foundation and the theme is 'Road Safety'- a paramount public health issue that needs to be taken seriously, a press release from IIM-K said.
The high energy flash mob surprised the evening crowd with a group of students from IIM-K huddled together for the performance at the beach. They then went on to perform at the Focus Mall as well. A mock drill was also carried out by a team of medical emergency experts from Angel Foundation in support of the 'Road Safety' cause being promoted by the SBI Calicut Marathon.
