A Chennai-bound Jet Airways flight from here was delayed after two MPs from Tamil Nadu belonging to rival parties, allegedly got into a scuffle.
The incident happened around 2 PM when flight 9W-854 was getting ready for departure, an airport source said.
An AIADMK MP was travelling to Chennai on the flight, and a DMK MP was also scheduled to travel on that, the source said.
According to the source, after the DMK MP came to know about it, the lawmaker decided not to travel on the flight.
While returning to the check-in area, the two lawmakers got into scuffle and the airport staff had to intervene, the source said.
When contacted, Delhi Police said it did not have any information regarding the incident.
