FLO organises health camp near Guwahati

FICCI Ladies Organisation North East Chapter has distributed free medicines in a health camp organised by them at Tetelia near here as part of its corporate social responsiblity activity.

The camp was organised yesterday in association with Marwari Hospitals here from where doctors and nurses conducted general health check ups and advised on paediatric care in the rural area, a FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) release said today.

Doctors from the Gauhati Lions Club Eye Hospital also participated in the health camp where more than 80 patients were checked and seven of them were advised to undergo eye operation for free in the Hospital, the release said.
 

FLO members Dr Yashaa Agarwal and Dr Saloni Ladha Saboo conducted dental check ups in the camp where Marwari Hospitals president Ramesh Goenka and vice president Ramavtar Bhartia were also present.

Marwari Hospitals in association with FLO North East Chapter would be organising a mega health camp for women only in its hospital on July 12, it added.

FLO North East Chairperson Joyshree Das Verma appreciated the voluntary contribution of free medicines.
