The .38 bore bullet was recovered from the hand baggage of Dharmand Gunanand Ratudi, a resident of Kandivali (West) in Mumbai, during the mandatory X-ray screening of his brown-coloured bag around 8.50 PM, a senior police official said.
The ammunition was confiscated by the CISF after manual checking of the bag and handed over to police.
Ratudi was to travel by Kingfisher flight (IT 0338) to Mumbai at 10.30 PM.
