A flyer was arrested at international airport here today by Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Mumbai Customs who recovered gold worth Rs 29.68 lakh from his possession.

The officials intercepted one Mohammad Moidin who arrived from Riyadh and was about to depart to Mangalore.

During the search, they found 10 bars weighing 1160 grams. While six bars were recovered from Moidin's wallet, four bars were found from an LED emergency light, stuck to its battery.

"All four bars were neatly wrapped with black coloured adhesive tape," an official said, adding further investigation is on.
