Former Congress Working Committee member Jagmit Singh Brar, who has created a flutter with his remarks pertaining to the party's senior leadership, was today issued a show cause notice by the party.
Taking a serious note of the "irresponsible and highly undesirable utterances" of the former MP and senior leader from Punjab, state Congress President Pratap Singh Bajwa today issued show cause notice to him seeking explanation for his conduct by August 5.
Bajwa said the notice had been issued following the directive from the AICC General Secretary and in charge of Punjab affairs, Shakeel Ahmed.
