Rajasthan Education Minister Vasudev Devnani asserted that establishment of smart schools, skill development and promotion of sports would be his focus in the next academic session.
"The government is focusing on the parameters for the development of education in the state and working in that direction," Devnani said, while addressing a gathering here at an event on Teachers' Day, where teachers were also felicitated.
The minister claimed that enrollment in schools have "increased by 17 lakh in last three years".

Speaking on the occasion, Rajasthan Rural Development Minister Rajendra Rathore said that "superior teachers will create better citizens". "A teacher can mould his students to be better citizens," he said.
He hailed the efforts of the Rajasthan government for providing "quality education", and claimed that "90 per cent of the students are going to schools today".
