RJD Chief Lalu Prasad, who is undergoing a five-year jail term after being convicted in a fodder scam case, today moved his bail plea before the Supreme Court which will hear the matter on November 29.
A bench headed by Chief Justice P Sathasivam, before whom the matter was mentioned by senior advocate P H Parekh, said that the case will be taken up on Friday.
Lalu, whose Parliament membership was taken away after being convicted in the case, moved the apex court challenging the order of the Jharkhand High Court which had dismissed his bail plea.

The CBI court had pronounced varying prison terms to the convicted persons on October 3.
