Fog disrupts air, rail, road traffic movement in Pb, Haryana

Foggy weather affected the movement of air, rail and road traffic in Punjab and Haryana though minimum temperatures in the region were recorded several notches above normal.

Chandigarh had a low of 10.4 degrees Celsius, five points more than normal, the weatherman said.

Ambala in Haryana recorded a minimum of 11.5, Hisar 11.3, Karnal 10.4 and Narnaul 6.5 degrees Celsius.

Amritsar's minimum was 10 degrees Celsius, while Ludhiana recorded 9.6 and Patiala 11 degrees Celsius.

"Foggy weather affected the movement of air, rail and road traffic in the region due to poor visibility," officials said.
